The Deerbrook Group appointed Basha-Franklin to design and refurbish a seven-storey building in London's Soho.
Deerbrook required a Cat A fit-out to entice tenants to these two combined commercial units — plus a number of feasibility options for multiple tenants.
An industrial look seemed right for the Soho location and the buildings' original aesthetic. We stripped back the interior to the the raw concrete floors and mechanics, adding Crittall windows and punchy loose pieces. We also seized the opportunity to create a more prominent street presence with a new building wrap and sculptural entrance canopy.
The new, accessible roof terrace is a desirable outdoor space overlooking the streets of Soho.
